On a cold October night a young couple are thrown into a terrifying ordeal when a clown mysteriously appears in their garden.

Shot in Glasgow and Barrhead in late autumn, 2016, The Beclowning is the directorial debut of veteran Glasgow Film Crew member Malwina Bieniawska and the first screen writing effort from Scottish horror author John McNee. Filming mostly at night, its small cast and crew worked hard to craft an entertaining and unnerving fright flick paying homage to the heyday of 80's video horror (with original synth-heavy score from Christopher Belsey).
